About halfway along the M69, there are some fixed cameras on a bridge. I dont recognise them, what are they? Mounted in pairs, one white, one black, a pair for each lane.

These have mentioned umpteen times on this forum.

They are just trafficmaster and nothing to worry about.

Yes, they do look different I am well aware, but the same type of camera also exists on the M40 north of J15.

I have seen drivers unnecesarily stamp on their brakes when they see these cameras on the bridge which is really annoying.

Thanks, I have just found them on a website, they are 'Vehicle Excise License' thingys.

They are not traffic master they are ANPR part of Brum's "ring of steel" they are are on all motorways out of brum at around 10 - 20miles from city centre

I always slow to 70, just in case they swap em over to speed cameras!!
