Neighbour using sorned car as storage
Discussion
I have been on the receiving end of this when I was building my jetta. You don't have a leg to stand on, mind your own business because all you will achieve is stressing out yourself and your neighbour, and you don't want a feud with next door. It's bad for you in every way. Just ignore it and enjoy the sunshine.

I don't think so, unless you want to plant a bush there.
Ah, I was reading it the wrong way. I thought the OP was wanting the car removed in case it somehow infected his car with something. If he just doesn't want to see it, fit shutters to his windows? Or maybe hold his copy of the Daily Mail at a different angle so it obscures the car?

I just wanted to record for posterity that someone had actually done a rebuild on a Jetta. Roverload, you are the ShedMeister.Edited by Breadvan72 on Tuesday 9th September 17:33
If you can find the landlord and they have a standard tenancy with no unlicensed cars on the property clause, then maybe you could get them to force them to get rid but it's a long shot.
Maybe ask them to stick a cover on it but to be honest your get a lot of stress and worst case nothing happens best case it gets moved and then your neighbour falls out with you. Can't see how you can be onto a winner.

It has to be asked, why not just buy one?
Because where's the fun in that? When you build a car its much more of a personal item, pardon the cliche but a labour of love. Many a summer evening spent with a couple of mates turning a heap into something special (to me anyway). It was ace, just gutted it ended up the way it did. My neighbours tried the police, council and environmental health who incidentally set up sound measuring equipment! All were told to fk off as there was no crime being commited.
Iirc some places do have restrictions on the deeds about parking caravans or work vans on the drives.
One place I rented years back had a clause about keeping the front garden neat and tidy in keeping with the nice neighbourhood.
So, if it's a new build pleasant estate, or rented property there might be some avenue to explore.
But, I think it'll be a lot of effort from you with minim reward.
