I do find this kind of requirement of proof quite bizzare. (Who the actual fk do you think you are, you bullying POS!). I (or anyone else) am not trying to claim any bragging rights about how low a speed we got NIP'd at, why would I?
I think when people post that they've been "done" for 34 in a 30 there's a suggestion of "Look how unfair it is and how low the thresholds are", not necessarily for bragging rights but more to suggest that enforcement of speeding laws is draconian. Others are suggesting that, actually, they're not THAT draconian. The issue can be clarified by posting up proof.

I'd have got less bile for saying I fked my grandma up the arse whilst doing 85 in a 30.
You'd also get some people defending you sayaing "we don't know the road conditions / time of day it was, we don't know the history of speed limits on that road, it was ok as no bunny wabbits were killed, and it was your grandma only through marriage"

For some funny reason I didn't keep a letter that was sent to me 2 years ago. I'm not sure why it's so difficult to understand though, I broke the speed limit, I got caught and got offered a course. If you don't believe me then that's fine.

What's the point, even if I do find the original paperwork I will just get accused of printing it out myself! I did do a speed awareness course for doing 34 in a 30, if you don't believe that then fine.
No you would not. The issue is that NO ONE has ever proved getting done at 34 so we are all waiting for tbe proof.

What I was doing was to empathise with the OP, that is all.

I'd have got less bile for saying I fked my grandma up the arse whilst doing 85 in a 30.
What a thoroughly unpleasant person you are frown

A friend of mine who happens to be 85 (and as expected doesn't drive fast at all) just recieved an N.I.P. for 34 in a 30. Caught by a Gatso on his way to see a medium at his spiritualist church, he was running late which is probably the reason for his excessive speed (or it could be his cataracts that mean he can't see the speedo properly in poor light so has to guess his speed).

Excellent. Post it up for us all to see. There's at least £70 to be donated to charity for a nominal amount of work. It's easy to do, photo it on your phone and then simply upload. Takes seconds.

Why do you need this evidence?! Why not just listen to what the guy is saying, then trust him?

I don't need it, but it'd be good for charities to see an extra £70 for very little effort by those claiming this.

In reality it's like Bigfoot or alien abductions, plenty of people claiming to have seen it / been a victim, but no evidence at all.

He told me this a couple of days ago. I am familiar with the area so am also aware of the camera. I didn't ask to see the N.I.P. when I saw him, and knowing him it could be 36 for all I know but he did say 34. Next time I see him I'll find out for sure.

Great. Add in BertBert's £10 and I'll add £20 to make it a round £100 for charity if you or any of the other people who claim to have been done for 34mph provide proof of this or anything less than 30mph.

I've had an SP50 (66 mph) 3 points & £100, and an SP30 (34mph) course and £100 fine, in the last two fecking weeks!
Assume the motorway was a reduced speed limit for the SP50?
Motorways quite often have variable speed limits from 50-70

What is there not to understand? People say they get done for 34 in a 30, Loon does not think people do get done for 34 in a 30 and as he is happy to be proved wrong by putting his money where his mouth is and will donate some cash to charity if if someone proves him wrong... but even though people say they get sone for 34 no one seem to have a ticket to show that...

I can show my ticket for 54 in a 40 if that helps!

There are at least three others also contesting it, all of whom put up money before I did.

Of course it did and it was only a month late, or is that what we're supposed to see after the speed. It looks really convincing otherwise.

That is as genuine as can be. All I've covered is where the exact camera is in Belfast, the exact time, the reg and make of my car, and the ticket number, all for anonymity. There's nothing else after the 33mph on the ticket! And correction - checked my messages there and I actually received it on Wednesday.Maybe Northern Ireland do it different and that's why it took so long for me to receive it?

Shame, mediums arren't what they used to be, in the old days they would have warned you that a speeding fine was likely. Probably a conspiracy to make more money for (insert as applicable)..............I thought you didn't need to make an appointment with a medium as they know you're coming anyway
