Do you know how much the hardcore would be jappa? As the drive man left me £160 to give to the 'grab bloke', im not sure if this was for the hardcore or the spoil to be carted away. Il give the company a call later see what I can find out. Thanks again.

Progress update for anyone still reading this!

Im ordering the blocks today, Plaspave Modena Granite, from local merchant. Wife's old school friend was a block paver while ago, now does mainly landscaping, im paying him to give me a hand or probably more like I give him a hand, on the weekends only, hopefully get a decent bulk done this weekend. Wish id know about him a month ago.

£14.04 plus vat per sqm. 8.95 sqm per pack. (10 packs) I think this is a decent price. And 8 ton of sand. (total area is 85sqm)

Is that sufficient?

Should add these are 50mm blocks, do i need 60mm or is 50 sufficient.

Also do you paving guys recommend sealing the blocks to keep the colour and protect them?
