Yes that's the section, 35a to 28. Recently exiting at j28 does seem to be a bit sticky but I don't think they need to start slowing you down 30 miles before the junction.
And also it's northbound as well for 30 miles. I do thousands of miles a year on motorways and the overhead gantries usually start to warn you a couple of miles before any problems.
The traffic lights on the southbound offslip seem to have been retimed to let less cars through.

Even at 05:30 the cameras are set to 60mph southbound.
Must have been for an accident.
They "turn on" slap bang on 7am, not sure what time they switch off mid morning/early lunch. They turn back on at 3pm.

I've been driving from Wakefield to Birmingham 5 days a week for the last month, we've started setting off 15mins early to get past them before 7am. The 60mph limit turns people into muppets.

So THAT'S why we have been paying for all those fking speed cameras on the M-Ways. SMART my arse. The KNOW that NO ONE will drive even slower than the already ludicrous 70mph limit unless their bullied into it.

It is the way it is going to go.Slower speed limits and fines if you ignore it.

You better get used to it.
