And also it's northbound as well for 30 miles. I do thousands of miles a year on motorways and the overhead gantries usually start to warn you a couple of miles before any problems.

Must have been for an accident.They "turn on" slap bang on 7am, not sure what time they switch off mid morning/early lunch. They turn back on at 3pm.
I've been driving from Wakefield to Birmingham 5 days a week for the last month, we've started setting off 15mins early to get past them before 7am. The 60mph limit turns people into muppets.
