The only ones I've seen have been Asian weddings and driving like a bunch of tits. Last convoy I saw was 20+ cars.

Having said that, the noise was magnificent....smile

FYI the same police force put a comment in the same post later on.

They had received numerous 999 calls of the kids driving anti-socially, taking up all 3 lanes on a motorway, slowing down traffic behind them and then drag racing, as well as other dangerous driving acts.

Strangely enough ,locally, we had a large Police spread (in local press)where they showed a PCSO with a speed gun in a locale ,where the headline read about complaints from mothers about "speeding drivers". Report stated that a FEW cars were stopped and the drivers advised, BUT NO prosecutions issued.
And this was in an area where County refused to put in a Pedestrian crossing on the grounds that (in this 20 limit) , no problems had been observed.

As the song goes "it all makes work for the working man to do "

wtf is "anti-unsocial driving" ?
Creating a rolling road block on a motorway and then racing off.

Sends a clear message if you think you can hire expensive toys and play with them at others expense, think again. We will seize so your can't.

Essex Police should take note.

We have a community of salt of the earth caravan dwelling types who like to block the main D/C out of town so they can race their pony and trap things up and down it. I've witnessed it twice and heard of plenty of other occasions from others. Anybody that might object to being held up like this is met with a torrent of threats from the nice gentlemen piled into the 4 x 4's they use to shut the road.

As far as I'm aware nothing has been seized and nobody arrested.

If you look at the photo, the green McLaren has the straps around the wheels/tyres which is a standard method of securing the cars. In the scheme of things, even if the wheels were marked, I'm sure whoever owns the cars will have more to worry about than the odd wheel refurb biggrin

I don't now why! Why don't you ask the police either write in or on twitter.

I would guess that 3 young guys and number of complaints, didn't want to drag them through the court and gather witness evidence.

Maybe they weren't 100% happy with the details used to hire the vehicles and felt they might by suspect details. I would be dubious of 3 young lads hiring these type of vehicles.

They may or may not of had previous S59's against the cars or individuals.

May of informed the hire car company and they were in breach of contract the so hcc wanted to save their supercars from these drivers.

Its better social media PR to have 3 supercars siezed.
