Used to be against the rules to post a picture of another forum member
It can't be, not for some time now... Steve Callaghan once posted a doctored picture of me with a (badly) Photoshopped Santa hat on without censure. Perhaps if the other poster were to complain it might be viewed as against the rules? He has multiple accounts which is something others have said was against the rules...
Steak & Cheese, Pitmansboots, dfr765, 4040vision, Tapereel, to name but a few.
He got thrown off the UKPOLICEONLINE forum for those very same misdemeanours!

I'm not, I had never heard the term 'Rat' used in that meaning before.
This rings no bells?'Rat' is pretty well known within UK car culture I feel, I live at the opposite end of the UK and I've still heard about Met Traffic Police.

I'm sorry your thread hasn't gone the way you wanted it to.
Sorry you're so unnecessarily difficult.http://www.blackratmerchandise.co.uk/2.html
Googling Black Rat Traffic Police Badges also reveals a badge with the words 'Orphan's Club' that suggested to me that it was a Black Rat club involved in the welfare of children that had lost a Traffic police officer parent.

Seems they buy gifts for orphans, not as I previously stated support the orphaned children of traffic police officers.
Seems they have a Black Rats Geometry club too. I'm surprised there's much call for a Geometry club after the rise of Computer Aided Design in the 1970s and 1980s.

Nevertheless, it's not one I've come across before. I know a fair bit about cars and have driven for a good many years but that one has passed me by.
Don't know whether it is still a "thing" but use to see the stickers on the back of private cars regularly. As per my Buff thread, the presence of the sticker, back before it was so widely recognised, was supposed to convey the "don't pull me over, I'm one of you" message. Probably all urban myth though.Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
