I didn't go to court ignored everything and a bailiff turned up a month later with a fine of a thousand pounds. Which I thought was jolly good service - no points, no conviction, didn't have to go Bristol or waste day of my time and the bailiff even came to me with a chip and pin card reader.
Who was summoned for failing to furnish - you personally (ie where you were the RK or you had been nominated by A N Other) or the company ?

II think with certain civil matters failure to appear really reduces the powers of magistrate..
It's criminal, not civil.

No matter what excuses you come up with or try to wriggle out of, one of you or both may get
points / charged with PTCOJ ...

Cant be that difficult to remember who was driving ??
If you can't can you remember the basics of the Highway Code or other important things ??
maybe time to surrender your brief then,

Have you any examples or legal basis to back up that view? As I posted previously if both parties cannot identify who was driving what happens???
