My V8VR decided it wanted a new battery after 8years service, locked me out the car and couldn't get into the boot to disconnect trickle charger. I then phoned the dealers who said if I could jump start it they would fit a new one for £380 -00, so proceeded to call AA ( home start ) guy was here in 20mins got it started and then said did I want him to fit a new battery. Off he went retuned short while later with same type ( 4 year guarantee ) set to and fitted it, which as many know on here is not the most straight forward of jobs, all done and dusted in under two hours including resetting doors and roof..... That will be £155-00 said the nice gentleman as he packed his tools away.
Just require some knowledgable forumite to tell me how to reset the digital readout back to MPH instead of the KPH now showing.
Thanks in advance.

8 years, that was good for a battery, I usually find much over 5 is good for something that isn't always used regularly. I try and change before im let down.

Agree, I got five years out of my original battery and replaced it with a good quality Bosch myself.

It really isn't a difficult task to do, just fiddly.
