Lets make it proportional. 10% of the value of car when new. Im sure then ops BMW fine would make him change plates quick time. Infact if you dont want to adhere to the rules of the road, after your first fine then its crushed. Tinted plates are illegal for a reason.

If you want to drive on the roads, abide by the law.
Could you please find a fact on law that tinted plates are illegal and post the link as I can't find one anywhere

Also what the hell is wrong with you , why on earth would you want someone you don't know who has never bothered you in any way have to give his money to the guv , possibly having a family as you well know life is hard , it's made that way by people like you . Something bad must of happened to you I pray luck comes your way and makes you a good person

Whilst your entire thread makes no sense.

Has anyone, ever gone to a shop to buy a number plate based on the tiny post code seen on someone else's number plate?

You have the hump because you know full well that you can't obtain tinted plates from a legitimate supplier, hence why you're clutching at straws about advertising someone by a post code for an excuse.

Ridiculous.
Yes people do buy from the reg

What has speeding got to do with stone chips?

Most stone chips occur due to stones thrown up by other vehicles - and their impact speed can be much faster than the speed you are travelling at depending on which direction they are thrown.

Do you think you won't get stone chips as long as you stick to <=70mph on a motorway?
Never been on the motor way it's too fast
