Got a ticket earlier while parked for 5 mins while picking something up from screwfix.

I may have been parked on double yellows (only 3 bays in the carpark) , however the ticket says parking in a restricted street during prescribed hours?

There are no time restrictions, just double yellows. Its an industrial park, so god no why...

Anyway, do i have any grounds to appeal this considering no prescribed hours??

The hours could be 24 hours.

Double yellow lines mean no parking. Ever. So no signs (now) needed.

Who me ?

Sorry to be pedantic, but you missed out the qualification " unless by a blue badge holder" .

Is it from the Council? Pay it.

Is it from a private? Ignore it.

Bristol

Unless the ticket is 'flawed' something the council is not complying with by law, You are this weeks kipper!

however it may be worthwhile putting up everything on pepeipoo.com in the Council forum to ask their opinion

I gather you have to load up the pics on a site like tiny url and redact all personal details except the location and time

If it means you possibly saving a few bob its worth 10 mins of your time.
Be honest with them and they will assist... take the mick or lie and they dont want to know

^^ This. You knew it was wrong and you got caught.

(However, you always admit you don't really care about right and wrong and follow silverfox's example, to see if you can con your way out of the perfectly justified ticket).

I'd be going down the line of loading/unloading.

Sorry, a box of nails doesn't cut it.

It says on the ticket it's council,
ie
Penalty charge notice not
Parking charge notice.

Three of which the "traffic warden" watched your vehicle for...?

BTW, have the markings changed drastically in the last year, because they only look to go round the immediate entry to the car park and opposite the junction, while parking on the road away from the junction is fair game. Unless...?

If the item was pre ordered, then possibly does. Some councils draft their TROs so badly, they don't specify what counts as loading and unloading, so any item at all can qualify.
What's more relevant is whether the item had been ordered in advance - if not then it's extremely difficult to meet the loading restriction.
