That could be interpreted as you are encouraging people to park as aforesaid. I very much hope that isn't the case.
If you are then your credibility just went down the toilet.
Oh no, how will I cope?? If you are then your credibility just went down the toilet.
Likewise that you chose to snip my post in order to avoid having to answer my point about criticising without providing any practical solution/s to the underlying problem.
You can interpret it as you wish - It's obvious where I stand on the parking - I've mentioned it a few (dozen) times on the thread already, but if you can't be bothered to read it...

What if all the cars on one side parked up first, with nobody on the other side. You go off on your walk and come back to the carnage in the pictures. Not exactly fair (not that damaging any of the cars is fair) to those that parked sensibly first.
Tough choice for the farmer but I don't think deliberate criminal damage was the answer.

If this bad parking has been happening for a while, I can understand the farmers frustration. As one comment points out there was just enough room to get a car through. What about emergency services, did the parkers not think of them?. I can understand the lure of a walk in the countryside, but people must understand that the countryside is also a place of work for many people, and if livestock is involved it often needs to be moved at a set time. We have similar problem near to where we live, on Sundays hoards of people clad in Lycra block the local lanes to go push bike racing, often blocking the road for 15 minutes or so, but we do at least know they will clear the road eventually. The farmer did not have the luxury of knowing when he could get through. I do feel sorry for the car owners, not a pleasant surprise to see your pride and joy damaged.
Tractor driver needs to get a grip - I can see a nice grass field behind the black BMW with only a small wire fence blocking the way for a tractor to drive on the grass field....
Any tractor driver with half a brain would have seen this to be a far less costly and more considerate solution, it's not like the car drivers purposefully blocked the road for all vehicles.....

The bad Parkers did not have one brain cell between them.
The walkers intended no malice, can't say the same for the tractor driver.....they had an alternative which they chose not to use, they could have called the police, strange that he/she didn't, can only assume they knew they were in the wrong.Edited by F1Timbo on Monday 20th November 18:00
