But this stuff is a minefield and will need specialist property lawyer advice. I use Squire Patton Boggs in Manchester, DAC Beachcroft in London and Gowlings in Birmingham. Thanks Blueg33, I'll see if they keep pushing on this. Its land belonging to the parish council so I think there is some sort of legal insurance to pay for proper advice.

It can be cost effective to use direct access counsel. PM me for recommendations (they aren't in my chambers).
