Good stuff there, Danger man, you'll soon be on a par with Peter TVR Surrey.
Are you putting a 2 poster lift in?
Will it be big enough for all that nitrous......
I cant go any higher it wouldn't make the neighbours happy. Are you putting a 2 poster lift in?

It will be big enough to work on my SD1 a well as the TVR with plenty of elbow room.

I need a garage space in my life.
It’s quite outrageous to think I grew up with the garage as my playground and since leaving home at 18 I’ve had one massive garage and now the ex has it,, or did! And that was a long time ago now. Feeling inspired to bring the plans in my head to the fore.
My Tvr has snow covering it today, this can’t go on!

I went for a wooden construction log cabin style as you dont get the condensation issues, but it would have been dark due being boxed in, so I had a transparent conservatory roof put on it. Its just under the dimensions to need planning application, so I had to make the roof angle very shallow to keep it below the 3m, but its worked out really well, as its really light inside, and catches some warmth from the sun in the winter. Blame the Mrs for the horrible colour.

Glorious and I’ve been looking at these constructions for ages, simple is good and that is the nuts. Local fencing company does these as in summer houses and doesn’t take much to adapt the plans.
You get what you pays for.
The colour would suit my Chim perfect and I quite like it,, less obvious as to what stuff goes on inside : thumbup:
Looks proper old school inside too.
That’s the one right there.
I just need a slab oh and 10k
I’ve been putting off a garage and looking at other properties, a bungalow but jeez the prices so rather than commit larger borrowing I have a large enough rear garden that could accommodate a really good sized garage that would be concealed quite well by many trees
I think I’d be a much happier bloke if I just had me garage space back.
Only when you don’t have a garage and discover your still into auto mechanics as a hobby do you value the solace that comes from one,,,
I want to do my chassis work at home with a mate who’s a great welder and enjoy doing it. Interior might as well get done too so that needs a cosy garage with tunes and fridge and space.
I spent my whole youth in garages until about 16 years of age then years going nowhere near one.
I notice a few guys coming back to mechanics late in life and doing some great things in there garage spaces,,, ,,, I’m thinking of doing Grassbikes

Well the house we built has a stone barn and in front attached to it an open sided barn. The enclosed on is 9.3m x 4m inside and the open sided one was not quite wide enough to nose or back a car under it so as the roofs were really very poor condition they had to come off to be replaced, you could see daylight through it an timber beams were rotten and wood wormed (mini Monstors the builder calls them) , and so they are being rebuilt as a garage and car parking. Now if the rain keeps off and it does not freeze in the next week or so the open barn will get it's new concrete floor at 5m width and about 12m long the stone barn has it's new reinforced concrete floor laid 20cm minimum depth and where the 2 poster will got 30cm deep concrete.
The roof covers 220 m2 according to the builder once my picturetrail account is functional again will get some photos posted up.
