And yet, despite having 5ft width restriction signs and markings both ends, there is an almost permanent flow of lorries up and down the hill.......wasn't speed that caused the tragedy.
Any excuse to slow everybody down appears to be the modus operandii these days

Yep, something I attempt to overlook anywhere possible in areas where no one else is affected. Gives me a warm glow every time I break a motorway speed limit!

20, 30 and 40, fair enough, stick to them. Even though 20 is often clearly ridiculous.

Nice - I heard they also do the courses at Bath Racecourse so i'm hoping that may be an option, if not i'll see if that one is still available.

Sorry to be pedantic but it is half way down the hill not at the bottom.

Plus it was not available at the racecourse when I did mine which was a shame as I live quite close.

Fortunately this speed camera at the bottom of the hill will prevent another tragedy. I’m sure anyone in a runaway truck will make a real concerted effort to slow down before ploughing into a crowd of people in future.

20mph Zones are ridiculous things, 25mph I could agree with if we did away with 30mph Zones.

Diregarding the bhing, i find the fact someone, or on this thread, two people have been nabbed for 26mph as nothing more than a money earner.

It’s scandalous. The other fact that the holiers agree with it, on a motoring forum ?

Just beggars belief.
I don’t know whether they’ve succumbed to being Government robots who can’t think for themselves or whether they’re just being deliberately obtuse to try and score some internet points with their fellow bellends.

I wish they’d fk off PH either way.

In that case I'm bloody glad the blanket 20's near me aren't enforced - most people still do the standard 35 through them, others significantly more!

Good one Lewisham, changing the limit for no apparent reason isn't exactly going to make a difference is it
Indeed if you got 6 points for doing 26 in a 20 there'd be no one on the roads after a few months, all the 20 zones around me aren't enforced either.

I tend to go with the flow of the traffic through them which is usually 25-30mph.

You've literally just made that up.
