Have you driven on the M25? Leave a bigger gap and you just get pushed back.

so he can just drive into a car because he indicated? He hit the car in the second clip, you could say why didnt he brake but what if there was a car right behind he brakes and gets rear ended and the idiot drives away scot free. The car in second clip was correct distance from car in front.
He deliberately hit the fiesta, yes the fiesta driver was driving like a tt and had some kind of beef by the looks of it but your friend had plenty of time to drop back as soon as they moved across, instead they decided to stand their ground and hit the car.

I've just watched vid2 for a 3rd time.

IMO....as soon as the idiot in white Ford starts to change lanes ,dashcam hero should be braking ,just a little would be

enough to avoid a collision.
This

The sooner people like that tt in the silver thing learn THEY are part or even the main cause of many problems the better. Prosecute both, the turd in the Ford for DWDC and the silver car for Dangerous.

DCW maybe for tailgating...but that is common on the M25

OP, I can see what you're getting at but I think you've got the rules slightly mixed up - April fool jokes are supposed to be done before midday.

PS I would destroy the video ASAP before you incriminate yourself any more (and no, I don't believe it was your friend.)

Really only want an opinion from someone who actually knows the law, if this had resulted in a multiple pile up who caused it? Like I said how do you know dashcam car was not being tailgated, yet again I say he brakes and gets hit who pays? Lots of cars indicate they want to come into the next lane and wait for a space. Im actually lost for words that anyone could say the dashcam car is in the wrong.
Totally irrelevant what's going on behind. Someone drives into the back of him they pay. Looks like the cam car sped up in the second video to prevent the other car 'pushing in'.

Both would have played a part in causing it.
Could camera car have possibly avoided it at all?
You don't have an avoidable collision in order to teach somebody you perceive to be driving poorly a lesson.
There is an expectation that you will do whatever you reasonably can in order to avoid collisions (even if others due to their driving seem intent on having them). If you haven't done that then you share in liability for the collision & potentially commit your own offence.
The dashcam car
a) Habitually follows too close (following close to try & stop others getting in the space between you & the car in front is a fools game & it's a game you can't win)
b) Doesn't do all that could reasonably be expected of him/her in respect of avoiding collisions where possible.

White Ford is a crap driver too.

So come on, how has it been handled?

If dashcam car WAS being tailgated they should
a) leave a bigger gap in front to compensate, or
b) seek to get out of the way (and let tailgater have his inevitable collision elsewhere.

I'm guessing the 'discusting way' the BIB dealt with it, is consistent with the replies here.

Quick question: You see a numpty driver begin a manoeuvre that will bring their vehicle into contact with yours. Do you:

A) Continue driving without taking any action and allow a collision to occur
B) Take avoiding action which may include, but not limited to, lifting off the throttle pedal and/or apply the brakes
C) Shout "Camruhh" to no one in particular in a hope that it will activate your shields.

Well, the thread title certainly delivers.

Piss poor driving all round from the Fiesta, the camera car and the silver car in the first clip.

Contributory wuckfittery from all four.

They both have this in common: White car in L2 didn't look properly. Cocksocket in L3 got all uppity.
