Tips please. What product(s) do you use on your Porsche. I just give the interior a light spray of water and wipe down with a microfibre cloth atm but im sure there are better methods.

TIA

If it's in good condition you're doing the right thing, nothing more is needed.

This stuff is great for cleaning leather

Our Cayenne has a light colour leather interior so need to clean it every couple of weeks and it does a really good job. Never used leather cleaner before to be honest but now use it on a car with a black interior...it's pretty grim how dirty it gets.

one of the leaders in leather care imo and the products are great value also.

LIQUID LEATHER is the one, and it does not make the seat shine in any way, perfect.

I believe you're doing the right thing unless there is a specific issue. Either mist spray or damp cloth.

From what i've been advised (for cars and sofas) modern leather treatment/coatings mean you really just need to hydrate as the only thing it really loses is moisture. Oils can actually be counter productive as they can't penetrate the outer layers and sit on the top becoming a magnet for dirt which then damages the leather through abrasion.

Most modern cars do have in effect a lacquer on leather so products like cream conditioners do not actually work as they do not penetrate the lacquer. A decent leather wipe or cleaner is much better to use just use it sparsely as a build up of oils on top of the lacquer will attract more dust, grit etc. and damage the material longer term.

I have always used Autoglym products and found them to be very good and not too expensive. They do a leather cleaner and leather care product. I recommend them.

Another plus for liquid leather, I've used it on cars since 1986 and it's the best yet. Just dab some on a cloth, wipe over the leather, a quick buff without waiting to dry and leave it for a day. I also use it on a leather armchair and on my very expensive Barbour leather hacking jacket, ( once a year for the last 10 years).
Perfect!

Until recently I used the Gliptone cleaner and conditioner. As modern car leather is coated I wasn't sure the conditioner was having the desired effect so I tried the Dr leather wipes. They are easy and convenient to use (I keep the tub in the car so they are used more frequently) and leave a nice matt original looking finish.

I use the same wipes, finish is good and cleans the surface well without too much residue.
