I've been using an Atera Strada 3 bike rack for the last 6 years. Never had an issue with any movement and I pretty much drive the same as I do when its not mounted.
After trying all types of bike carrying options this is without a doubt the best option. Initially you do wonder how they manage to hold everything on with just one mounting point but the clamping mechanism on the Atera is really strong.
We had the Atera Strada as well, very solid piece of kit, very impressed. After trying all types of bike carrying options this is without a doubt the best option. I've used a four bike Buzz towbar rack for several years and many miles. Always ensure both the rack and bikes are fitted securely. Then still drive faster than the majority, albeit as smoothly as possible.
It's never moved and is quite happy at higher end motorway cruising speeds.
As there is no additional contact with the road, it doesn't count as a trailer so usual speed limits for vehicle apply.

We travelled all the way down to near Italy with 4 bikes on our Atera Strada. Never moved once. However I felt the Thule one I had before was stronger and felt more sturdy. I had to sell it because I couldn't open the barn doors on the back for the T5 with the Thule, whilst the Atera works fine.
