Driving a 115mph on a public road? Hardly surprising they threw the book at you.
Maybe you have the ability to control a car on a road at that speed and the law is unfair.
Most people do, it isn't in principle any different from controlling it at 70MPH and potentially much easier than controlling one at 30 on a crowded urban street. Maybe you have the ability to control a car on a road at that speed and the law is unfair.

The problem is, the vast majority of people over estimate their driving ability. In surveys most rate themselves as above average, which is of course impossible.
No it isn't, and in any case it's irrelevant to the issue.bartelbe said:

Of course it's not impossible, it's been explained here many times (usually on insurance threads) that that is the norm.Maybe you have the ability to control a car on a road at that speed and the law is unfair. If a million people are asked how good they are at driving then 999,999 of them will say 10/10, however it only needs 1 person to say 1/10 and the 'average' drops to just under 10/10, hence 999,999 drivers are above average.
If you use exactly the same mathematical formula you will find you have more legs than the average human being. Strange but true!
