Could it have been his airwaves handset? That is exempt! Or could you identify the specific model of Nokia

So it was dark as well! How could you see what he was doing in the car? 'R Verses Turnbull' is the definitive guide on these sort of issues !

gone - when will you get the message? There is a rash of anecdotal evidence that many BiB believe that the motoring laws do not apply to them - Streaky

And when it comes to speed 99% of the population think it doesn't apply to them. (Including me!)

Yes - Bib - should be setting an example when in uniform. No - we shouldn't go bonkers about it when they prove themselves otherwise just like the rest of us.

Just to make you feel better I stopped and spoke with a PC and informed him that he should not be using his mobile - it went down well

Seems to be the way on the forum that it is easier to prove the existance of god than allow reasoning that good BMW drivers are a minority and there are police officers that are not exactly whiter than white....

Streaky!
When will you get the message? There is a rash of anecdotal evidence that many MOP believe that ALL motoring laws apply to them Gone.

There is also a rash of evidence that people are willing to make opinions and judgements about what Bib do wrong on the flimsiest of evidence without hearing or finding out the full facts

Maybe you got where you are today by saying:

'Let's hear it for Della' at regular intervals.

Incidentally Richard, are you TrafPol or ex. TrafPol or trained to that standard etc.?

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Can we please stop all this BiB bashing? It's repetitive, predictable and pretty boring. It also dissuades the resident BiBs such as Gone et al from contributing, which is a shame. Obviously there are coppers who don't practise what they preach, that's common sense, but posting ad infinitum about minor misdemeanors is just pointless.

When we stop getting prosecuted for 33 in a 30 and investigated by the serious crime squad for eating an apple, maybe, just maybe people will feel proud of our BiB once more.

It may not be the fault of the individual officers but they are certainly not helping themselves are they?

But Liebchen... I do not think PC Milton's testing out his ability to reach unexploded doughnuts in time was based on flimsiest evidence

Und I can tell a Handy from the thingy I see used in traffic cops...when I see one...und then there was the one I saw scoffing a doughnut whilst driving... und I can spot a cream doughnut at great distance...

Und then there was the one squeezing his zits at the traffic lights - und both hands off the wheel... he could have entertained me better by playing his air guitar - like that other bloke who was allegedly fined for it...

Und then there was the WPC who was exploring her nosey for greenest bogeys at a crossroads.... But at least she ws not holding a doughnut in her other hand at the time

But am not sure I would like to examine the evidence that closely....but when people are prosecuted over apples, playing air guitars, und over very silliest excuses... und then we see BiB showing they are human like us und doing same things und not getting nit picked on... you can understand why we tease you a little over it...
