So seems to be another scare-mail

I will send them the letter back again stating the debt is denied.

This is exactly what to do. Just keep denying the debt until they issue court papers. They will get board eventually (probably about 10 years time).

Provided you have already written to them once don't waste your time. Unless of course this is a proper 'Letter before Action' - which it sounds like it isn't.
