DUI? That's a US offence. Why the sudden tendency to call it that in the UK?
Are some people watching too many trashy US TV shows?
Definitely. Are some people watching too many trashy US TV shows?
It's why they talk about license plates and 'swapping out' parts, too.
They also probably speak with an intonation that makes every statement sound like a question.

Just to be clear you did not have to take your motorbike test again then? Just the extended test and then you got both car and Motorcycle full licences back?
Yes no motorbike retest although at the time everyone I asked was a bit unsure .I was on a bike doing 90 in a 60 in 1995 and A police car saw me and turned round caught up with me and told me he was reporting me for dangerous driving .
Got the book thrown at me 120 hours community service too .

Im a bad boy, i know, but please spare the lectures.
How many people actually resit the test after a ban? Mine is finished in 3 weeks and unclear if i get full licence. Charge sheet never said i did but not sure.
Thanks ????
Everybody ordered by the court to take a re-test after a ban, has to: "actually resit the test" if they want to continue driving legally - It's compulsory, not optional. How many people actually resit the test after a ban? If the court doesn't order a re-test to be taken, then lo and behold, no re-test is required.
You really need to recheck all of your paperwork concerning your case, and/or contact the DVLA , to find out for sure, before you get behind the wheel and possibly find yourself in even more trouble!

The court has the definitive answer. Not DVLA. If in doubt then get the Memorandum of Conviction from the sentencing court.Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
