Seeing as this is a number plate thread, and to keep on topic ,out of interest, do you have a front plate?

Over to you 355.
That was one of the pictures i forwarded to the new owner at his request before he purchased last year...hence no front number plate (or rear one which is not so obvious).

I thought you may of observed it was not on a public road before you dived in there, although whilst on that subject, i have never been one to drive without a front plate.

Nice deflection though.

So...

Go on...a wee cheeky pic showing all these GT3s, GT4s, Ferraris and McLaren in one pic if you could please...i love them cars and may even use it as a screensaver....

At the very least, it will allow you to have a wee bit of credibility with those you are lording over...

On his new Specialie ferrari. Or it may be a Pista.

Personalised yes. But still in XX## XXX format.

It has no space :-)
To be fair, AndyB has some very, very lovely cars but also a few ropey plates as well.

So, you call someone out, they prove you entirely wrong and ask the same of you. You then hide behind "keep on topic"! As Av185 don't you realise how little credibility you have on here?

Funny you should mention this, I went to a coffee morning yesterday at the local Porsche garage. Think I counted over 5 mis-spaced plates on what most would consider premium cars, GT3 RS, GT2 RS, Huracan Performante, Ferrari California to name a few…

Made me wonder whether AV would go round pointing and shouting 'chav' and 'false aspirations' to all the owners if he were present.
Just to show I am totally impartial, makes no difference which car an illegal plate is displayed, this being a perfect example.

Big fan of the GT3, genuine question, what sort of front plate do you have on there?

I only ask as it is one of many new sports and super cars that has its looks ruined by a full size front plate.(in my opinion of course)

Depends how it is designed.

Carrera T is quite slim and suits the car.

GT4 thicker fitting not so good

He has an illegal plate as well.

He has a stick on plate which does not meet bsau 145d.
However it has it printed on. So fraudulently claiming to be legal.

Not sure what is worse :-)

As you are a self confessed butcher of plates, don't judge others by your own desperate and narcissistic vanity actions.

As previously confirmed all my cars plates are legal unlike yours. All my plates are fitted by the official supplying dealer when new and stay on the car as supplied until sold. As you know full well, official Porsche and Ferrari dealers have to conform to these highest standards for obvious reasons.

I wouldn't be seen dead in an illegally plated car.

Unlike yourself.

But seeing as you clearly have evidence of my 'illegal' plate, why not post it up with definitive proof as to why you think it is illegal. We could do with a laugh.

Oh and also post up a picture of your illegally butchered plate as well which you have been promising to do for quite some time now but never have. rolleyes

Agree entirely.

Not just better.

But legal as opposed to illegal.

I know your plate is illegal because it is a vinyl plate which DOES NOT and CAN NOT conform to BSAU 145d.

But then again I don't think a number plate defines someone as a person.

Other than you as a hypocrite.

Enjoy your GT3 smile

So you have failed to provide any photos of my plate as expected. rolleyes

At the risk of repeating myself, yes my GT3 like many others has a vinyl plate on the front which is perfectly legal because it was fitted by the OPC last year when the car was supplied new by them. It is the correct size, displays the correct font with the correct shade etc etc and displays the supplying dealer address and postcode together with the correct BS number. Most official dealers including Porsche cannot supply either new or used cars without legal number plates confirming to the regs and just because someone sees butchered or mispaced plates at dealers clearly doesn't mean the cars or the plates are supplied by them.

If you seriously think that someone such as yourself who openly admits on a public forum to specifically flouting the law by removing their cars original legal plates and replacing them with an illegally butchered/bded/mispaced numberplate purely for narcissistic/vanity/personality reasons is the same as someone like myself who merely takes delivery of a new car displaying a perfectly legally dealer fitted plate confirming to all the appropriate regs then you categorically do need help and fast.

Not only that, but I think you will find most PHers would agree.

Your vinyl plate does not meet BSAU145d requirements.

https://www.bnma.org/research-and-testing/the-9-te...
https://www.bnma.org/research-and-testing/the-9-te...
Does not have plate manufacturers post code

This is obvious given it's material.

The bsau number cleary was just printed on there to appease the plod. It is impossible for a vinyl plate to conform with the requirements. Anyone with half a brain cell can tell that. But you just plead ignorance, you clearly are not stupid - not sure what is worse... hypocrisy or ignorance?!

You cite butchery and vanity but you could quite easily have this type of plate which is what comes from the factory :

Given how your posting history tends to be 70% number plate related I suspect you are the one that needs help and fast :-)

I don't care that you have an illegal plate, doesn't bother me in the slightest - i just find it hilarious when you think that technically yours is better than mine or anyone else's for that matter - When you would get a fine if the police looked hard enough

But let's not forget that to have an illegal number plate deserves getting covered in your saliva , but speeding is completely OK certainly does not get your hurling of abuse. :-)

The extent of your delusion as to whether my plate is legal is matched perfectly by your hopeless maths as anyone checking my posting history in relation to number plates will plainly see it is nowhere near 70% but just over half this figure. But never let the true facts spoil a good story eh? rolleyes

Your further inability to grasp legalities and facts is also shown by the photo of the white GT3 you provided is in fact a gen 1 not a gen 2 like mine which has a totally different front bumper shape design and aero venting.

Also you say the plate on the gen 1 GT3 is as fitted from the factory???

Que?

Even you should realise no new car comes with a number plate fitted at the factory. The official dealer always fits the plates to legal standards otherwise cars cannot be sold and driven on the road. However, if someone such as yourself chooses to illegally butcher or mispace a plate in the name of their vanity after the vehicle has been purchased then that is up to them but only if they can live with the appropriate guilt, of course.

Clearly you can. rolleyes

Just to put things into context and in order to hopefully help you fully grasp that your plate is illegal whereas mine is not, everyone knows full well that a mispaced plate is an instant MOT failure and that is why I can guarantee that you will replace your illegally mispaced/butchered plates currently displayed on your car for the MOT test and then subsequently swap them back for you to proudly display your lifestyle achievement hehe for all to see. rofl

Now because I won't have to swap my plates for another set when the time comes round to having my car tested, does that not finally confirm to you together with other irrefutable evidence that your mispaced plates are illegal and mine aren't?

Finally, you really are displaying the sure signs of a guilt trip by raising the tenuous subject of speeding in a desperate attempt in comparing this intangible to anything remotely similar to the obvious illegalities of your mispaced and butchered plate.
