Has anyone ever counted how many Lords there are on Pistonheads? Says something about the average users psyche I think.

No, not a cop, but I did grow out of the anti police phase in my teenage years.

How bizarre. OP's friend intends to go to court, win and then sue the police officer personally, and then it's in fact them, and they are going to pay up and write a strongly-worded letter.

This - just looking at the posters profile pretty much confirms it's either a returning banned user or a duplicate account - most new posters don't bother filling their profile with info whereas the OP's has:

Profile Occupation - Company Director.
Notes - I'm a naughty boy. I'm a bad boy.

I was going to post a reply, but after reading the first few entries on this thread, I determine the usual utter drivel that despite entertaining me on my boring nightshift, is still not worth replying to.

Might be worth offering the officer a sword fight using frozen sausagers to determine the winner, rather than taking court action.

Not much difference to just paying a £60 parking invoice ?
Yet people always say appeal, don't give in etc.
It's easy to give money away isn't it smile

It's not a parking invoice, it is a FPN issued by the police So you are going to mags court to argue against the evidence of a policeperson, not some civil company at the smalls claims court.

Also considering we know no facts about the offence, you have to err on the side of caution, pay fine move on with life.

Yeah, me too.

Meanwhile, see below. It appears that I must have looked at someone's pint in a funny way, although I cannot recall ever having heard of mintybiscuit before this thread, and cannot recall ever being in the same pub as him or her.

Back on topic, the OP is evidently a Bingobrain of the highest order. I just hope that he does not carry out his loonbat FOTL threat and waste scarce public resources in pursuit of his vanity project.

PS: OP, some free advice. If you sue the copper, you case will be ausgestrucken, and you will be ordered to pay indemnity costs. Sadly, you will still have wasted a bunch of public money. Do us all a favour, and get a grip.
