And if I was to knock on their door in the middle of the night I'd tell them to move the car because you're going out in half an hour or so. That way they will have to find somewhere else to park it, as I doubt they'll want to sit up waiting for your half an hour just so they can move it a couple of feet and then put it back where it was.
I was going to say this - is there a chance that if you (OP) get them to move, they just move back to where you were - so, as ^^^^ - wake them and let them know you are heading out in roughly 10 mins, but wait at least 30 mins before leaving. Wait round the corner and have someone else watch - if she moves the car back deliberately, just drive back immediately to catch her 'at it'

Shes either selfish, uncaring, self centered, or a possibility she knows it winds you up, so is doing it for the bedevilment of it.

My Friend lives in a small village oppersite a news agents and kebab shop, he has no end of trouble always has people parked across his drive, he has found people parked ON his drive, the best was when he arrived home to find a guy getting out of his car after blocking his drive, mate winds down the window and said I need to get on to my drive please the bloke said I wont be long and headed off in to the shop leaving my mate on the street waiting for him.
So what did your mate do? Just sit there and wait?
Yeah - if people have that attitude they probably dont care much where as my mate doesnt have a goatie and has a lot more to loose if he gets into trouble.

Rent her your drive for £5 a month then just block her in 4-5-times a week!

Become nocturnal. Start ringing her doorbell at 3am to shift it. You probably won't need to do that more than twice.

She doesn’t have a drive. Hence why she decides to block my drive.

She is out and I have taken my car off the drive, and moved it into her spot. Which is now my spot until she gets the picture!

The solution here is buy a £300 car. Next time they park blocking you, wait till they get out of the car, then drive out of your drive, and scrape your 'new' shi77er all down the side of their car. Hopefully they watch this happen, at which point you get out and say, 'Im terribly sorry, I didnt see you parked there.'

Thanks all for suggestions, including some daft ones that made me chuckle.

Seems the issue is temporarily solved. I waited until she went on her daily trip to the shop, moved my car into her spot, and waited for her.

She asked me what I was doing and I showed her that, even with my small Hyundai i10, the way I am parked blocks my drive, and her parking like this is an annoyance. I then moved my car onto the drive and she parked up, leaving plenty of room for me to get out. All very friendly, no heads chopped off, no swearing. She apologised and said she would be more considerate. Winner!

There is no place for that kind of rational behaviour.

Digusting.

At the fact hes parking in their space now?

Thats fine but whats wrong with what I said.. park across the front of your own drive so they can't block you in and just have an empty drive and you are parking at your own place still.. scratchchin

Dude, that's what he did. He parked in front of his drive, waited until she came back to park in 'her' spot and then they had the conversation, unless I'm fecking reading it wrong?! In which case slap me around the internet chops for being a bellthronk.

I was just thinking her spot is a space she is designated for her house, not the usual pita spot infront of the drive.

All makes sense now! Haha
