Whilst I agree that the only way to sort this is to get him nicked, I wouldnt completely agree with the notion that he wont do anything that will risk breaking his bail conditions - he'll merely get someone else to do it whilst he's somewhere that will supply a credible aliby, or do something that cannot be proven - like poisoning your cats etc.

You have my best wishes though Rumpel - it's hard to believe that people like this didn't grow out of these pathetic acts in school.

I suspect the BiB are probably frightened of him

Absolute rubbish!!!! I know these sorts as I deal with them every day and the thought that police are scared of someone is just one of the most ridiculous notions that has ever been put to me. I mean can you imagine... "sorry sarge I don't want to nick him, I think he's scary"

Well, I wish we had a few of you round here. Dial 999 and you have to threaten to take the law into your own hands to get them out. Try and report a crime and you get fobbed off with any lame excuse they can think of, this is from my own experiences. It just seems it's anything not to affect the crime figures or the BiB won't touch the sort of people that rumple is up against as it is too much trouble unless they commit murder.
But none of this will help rumple in his problem so maybe it's better left for another thread.

mungo hit the nail on the head.the police won't be frightend of these scum.but it may take some time to nail these people.go down the lawful route but if push comes to shove it doesn't cost much to have people sorted out and taught a lesson in life.
a friend of mine was in a simalar situation and got hold of a number to ring, all he was asked was for a name an address.when he asked what would happen to them he was told that their elbows and knees would be smashed to pieces(that's as long as they don't struggle to much) for the princely sum of a grand.
he hung up!!

Rumpel - The only answers to your situation are to take my advice or move. There is no other answer.

I've posted my advice (which is based on my experience as a police officer dealing with people like you have described on a daily basis) and I have nothing more to add now to this thread. But Rumpel you know your options now, do the right thing and good luck.

Hmmm....Rumpel, mungo is right and regretably we all basically know that.
The ex drug dealer is NOT a threat. He only visited the minger to be nosey and get the latest sp on story.
Don't fall for that old 'chestnut'
The Minger is running f!ck 'scared' and getting a false army around him!!!!
Call you local police station and ask to speak to the duty sarg.
Explain your concerns but you want to proceed with a complaint and make a full statement
The police can visit in unmarked vehicle and plain clothes.
Your injuries can be photo'd etc
Your case will go thru courts ok without witnesses or other statements.
No-one (least of all me) is doubting your abilty to stand-up and fight for yours or others right.
YOU can do it and win!!!!
Hope you injuries not quite so painful today
