Just listening to a bit on R4 about the slowdown of the legal system. I was surprised to hear concerns over how a jury might (or might not) react over video evidence. Surely this medium would extract some of the emotion and leave the juror with something more objective and factual.
I can just imagine some of the brain donors I did jury service with questioning whether the evidence had been edited to elicit a specific conclusion, like Love Island...Macneil said:

Shed loads of people out. I think it's time for a total lockdown. People are using it to abuse the interpretation of being outside and essential travel.
Just to clarify, the fact that you think it's time for a 'total lockdown' - is that because you're concerned that the 'shed loads of people out and about' will increase virus transmission, or because you think they're 'getting away with it' and shouldn't be?Also, what would you regard as 'a total lockdown?' Which freedoms that we currently have would you remove?
And finally, could you please justify to me, as someone who has observed the current restrictions in full, why I should have further freedoms removed? Taking into account the fact that government modelling was assuming somewhere between 20% and 25% non compliance with the current measures?
