Doctors or not all he needed to say was that wearing the mask caused him stress/anxiety. That’s a valid exemption.

Most Doctors won’t do written exemptions.
Great. Fabricating a disability because your ego is too fragile to wear a mask.

Ridicules those with actual disabilities.

One of the usual suspects has arrived. Driver won’t be long behind.

Who said anything about fabricating a disability?

What should he do if he doesn’t suffer from stress/anxiety and just doesn’t think he should have to wear a mask?

By the time he actually gets an appointment with the GP this pandemic and all the surrounding nonsense will be over.

Somewhere around 2050ish. yes

Usual suspects, yet it's you trying for a bite again? You've already had a few pops today. I've only ever quoted a few of your posts.

You've said that masks have affected your mental health and it's clear how you're wound up about it on these threads. A trivial matter has taken over your life for a year. It's not normal.

You are continuously getting into childish fights and are trying to antagonise people in return. It's now my turn. I'm not here to pick a fight with you. It's clear you're not helping your mental health.

Me. To look at, you'd think I wasn't wearing a mask because I'm a censored I did wear one up to Christmas but it got too much. Mask wearing and one other situation cause the anxiety, but the other situation only crops up a few times a year. This was something that happened over 30 years ago. I appreciate 'we' are a minority of the people not wearing masks, but society shouldn't have been moulded into being pathetic covid wardens. We don't lecture fat people, smokers, drinkers etc.
What about other people's anxiety over all the none mask wearers they meet.
My wife is genuinely suffering on every trip outside the house.
Sons wedding is in 2 days time. She anxiety is through the roof. People who don't wear masks should think about the impact they have on other peoples mental health.
Oh and guess what cases are rising and more hospitalisations are occurring.

I suspect your wife is vaccinated and masked up, in which case she should stop watching the msm propaganda.

How did she cope last year pre Vax and pre mask wearing?

Mask wearing became compulsory soon after the 1st lockdown began didn't it ?

December 2020 - NHS waiting list for Hernia repair 9 months+ of backlogged surgery then the standard 36 weeks
Called Nuffield on the Monday, had my consultation on the Friday, 3 weeks later ii was at home recovering from the procedure.

Amazing experience from start to finish.

A very reasonable £3300 iirc

Same could be said for those that refuse to wear a mask.

Don't wear a mask? Don't leave the house.

Looks like the bloody masks will be 'optional' from 19 July. I dare say the paranoid will be donning hazmat suits to go out shopping.

Exactly, don't want to wear a mask fine don't go on holiday don't go to events. Stay at home and whine about how st your choices have made life.

And now I'm off out kayaking sans mask

Same here. Had a prostate scare a few years back. 2 months to see a specialist. Phoned Nuffield and someone had their fingers up my bum within 24 hours. £220. Same doc as I'd have seen on the NHS.

Couple of months back needed physio for tennis elbow, just went to the local sports centre and paid £45 to see a specialist. Even getting through to reception at my GP is more than hard work.

We definitely have a two tier system now. Shame really, as most can't afford to pay.

Regarding Anxiety - when discussing this above (someone's wife). Do you mean anxiety as in the feeling anxious we all do sometimes, or do you mean the "what the hell is going on! Call an ambulance !" Anxiety? Because the two are very different , a fact I think a lot of people are unaware of. Clearly lots of folk, through no fault of their own, think people going on about anxiety are "weak scaredy cat" type folk whereas you could not be further from the truth. It's a malfunction of the fight or flight system and really debilitating and terrifying when triggered. Just a thought.
