Yes a bit of a strange one. The person who we thought it was my wife spoke to and she flat out denied it saying we've never upset her at all. She even turned up with a birthday card for my wife! I spoke to another lady on our road who said the exact same thing happened to them last year when they had a BBQ but the police told her it was someone on the back. If it is who she said then they are the noisiest on the estate so a bit hypocritical.

We had a gathering on Saturday for my wifes birthday and made sure we did everything to minimise the noise. The smokers went into the garage and we kept music lower with all windows closed - no issues at all.

Had to break up a fight between neighbours late at night due to a similar issue - youngster had DJ type equipment in the garden at around midnight - proper bass stuff that definitely carries.

Both were friendly types and the one causing the noise we had socialised before many times in the past - BBQs etc.

I realised I had logged on to his wifi before when round there, so linked my phone and managed to play some st tunes at random just for fun smile
