Thick and ignorant as a pig.
Discussion
I don’t agree with using termination of human life as a punishment or deterrent, even in jest, it’s a dangerously slippery slope.
I don’t have the answer either though, medical science and electromechanical technology could easily deal with the problem of how to control behaviour, preventing reproduction might also help long term, but someone would need to decide how much of it is ethical, this is the main obstacle to progress.

Prison is a waste of tax payers’ money if it doesn’t achieve the objective, which in this case would be eventual rehabilitation. There must be a better and more cost effective way, military service abroad perhaps with sterilisation as a deterrent if the subject persists with unacceptable behaviour, or would that be a step too far?
I think we both agree then, seeing as prison is an expensive waste as is the 'long but usually ineffectual rehabilitation process'.Euthanasia is the only way forward for scum like this
Agree the lock-em-up approach doesnt rehabilitate but on one level - who cares? Surely the point is to extract them from society if they won't play nicely.
So rather than not locking up idiots like this, could a rebalancing of what does end up as a custodial sentence? Why does nonviolent /nonaggressive crime result in a prison sentence, or nonpayment of a TV licence, etc
Also can we end the nonsense of concurrent sentences. And that business where they only charge for the most serious crime when a bunch of crimes have been committed.
tldr just lock up violent criminals, and keep them away. Lock more people up, but lock up the right ones.

Indeed. 100% council.Yes, he’s a prick, who is a stain on society. However, it’s not because he is Scouse, or indeed council. There are many hardworking scousers who are great people.
Yes, there are a fair proportion who are like the chap in this video, just as there are snobs who think that where they come from or their accent they have makes them a better person than others. Sneering, classist nonsense from people who should know better.
I know who I’d rather spend time with.

Yes Liverpool has changed from the old stereotypes of thieves, nicking your hub caps/wallet etc, shell suits, orange women, permed hair.....Yes, he’s a prick, who is a stain on society. There are good ones and bad ones, just as there are in Godalming, or any other posh London dormitory town. Actually I'll rephrase that- there are probably more thieves and swindlers in Godalming (as a proportion of population!) , they are just less visible and more ambitious and don't go around stealing car parts.

I’m just tired of the lazy stereotyping on Pistonheads. It’s low hanging fruit, it’s dull, and it’s been done to death.
Doesn’t matter where you’re from, how you speak, or what your background is, there are tts everywhere - a fair proportion post here (probably myself included, depending on who you ask). No victim complex here.
