Hi everyone.
Does anyone on forum have any ideas for dealing with liar, wreckless drivers?

Hit my bumper twice crushed it infront of my own eyes whilst shouting instructions to “ reverse pull hand brake up stop hitting my parked car”!
She reversed into customer car then forwards into my parked car. I ran out work door but she appeared to be high or just crap driver and thick and refused to accept she hit my car then refused to listen then crushed bumper driving forward.
Wanted to rip keys out window but I would of been done for assault etc. police useless bullst once again. Didn’t go get her tested or statement. Many witnessed it, passer by and customers.
Swear it was like she intentionally hit my car. Why drive forward if everyone’s shouting stop !
She’s refusing to admit liability calling me a liar by saying my cars bumper already scratched up. Definitely not lying. Trying to blag me off. Trying to offer me £50. She doesn’t like the £170 plus vat repair spray quote I sent her.
I don’t want to go via insurance as even non fault causes 4-5 year increase premium.
I’m annoyed with her for wreckless driving, lying, the police, the insurers, everything the whole justice system is useless.
Any ideas on how to handle a high drugged liar that’s trying to scam me ?
How can I get her to pay damage ?
She’s paid £200 to the customers the other couple who’s car she hit but causing me hassle.
Police passed to traffic police.
How do I deal with this wrecked liar ???
Anyone ideas ?
Small county claims court ?
Credit claim company ?
Or just to prove my point go through car insurance as I hate injustice hate being scammed by a liar.
Best way for justice ?

You can either chalk it up to experience and let it go, maybe you’ll get lucky and she’ll give you the £50 or you’ll have to notify insurance etc and try and claim. It isn’t worth the hassle. Just take it as one of life’s duff cards and remember the universe has a habit of catching up with people.

Edit to add you should be notifying your insurance anyway but almost no one does because as you said it’ll sting you even more.

I mean it all sucks, but how are the insurers useless if you haven’t told them?

Well you’re the one who doesn’t want to involve insurers.

How much is your insurance excess?
If it's more than £170 (+vat) the insurance won't be interested anyway.

OP did you get all the electrical problems fixed that you had back in January?
Or is this a different car?

To be fair, my sister's insurance went up after someone wrote off her car when it was parked up...

... by a whole £2. Sometimes it's not as bad as you suspect.

Also, insurers are usually very good at dealing with this stuff for you.

Either that or just let it go and pay the repair. I suspect, crap though it feels, that those are your only choices.

OP we need to know how many times you turned around, and how many times she turned around, so we know who is better at arguing.

Got to give OP, sorry whoever the duplicate account belongs to, credit. So many SP&L & NP&E boxes ticked in one go for trolling / wind-up purposes clap

How many pages do we think this one will drag out for? getmecoat

If you've got her details (you've sent her a quote) what are you expecting the Police to do??

This is why we have insurance.

This is bks. Some insurers charge for a non fault accident, many don't. Of those that do, not all of them would still be charging after 4/5 years.

But to answer your general question, write a letter giving her 7 days to pay telling her that if she doesn't, you will issue a small claims court summons, and after 7 days, go on line and issue it.
