Hello all,
You guys love a banter and wind up.
Well I’m wound up for sure by this wreckless woman. She’s taking me for a mug. Refused to listen and look at her car bumper hitting mine. Then drove into it more crushing it in.

Would you guys reach in to grab keys from her ?
Drag her out the car ?

Only I was shocked and frustrated shouting “reverse stop pull handbrake up get out and look”

Was a slow motion movie scene haha and I couldn’t stop her, nobody could. Intoxicated and in denial with her front bumper crushed into mine.

And still with witnesses and photos she’s still in denial. I did phone police because of her behaviour. I did phone insurance who say if she denies liability I could lose claim. Witnesses could retract not back me up.
So there you go no win crappy situation. Police not interested in wreckless intoxicated drivers. Insurers not sure if they want to fight for claims. So I really see no point in paying insurance and legal fees.

I could pay excess around £150 claim it back if successful claim.

Have texts and whats app messages which prove she admits paying £200 to the other car she hit on carpark. Admits hitting mine but she’s mugging me off. Said my spray repair quote is rip off that I’m ripping her off. Said she done one scratch and arguing the other scratches not caused by her.
Really don’t know how much more I can hold back as I’ve been polite and fair.
She’s got me cornered.
Do I call her bluff and go via insurance claim out of principle for her bulls**t games and attitude. Make her insurance go up 50% fault claim
Or just give up let her mug me off and win.
Or any other crazy ideas welcome

Claim on your insurance. This is nothing different to what happens with a ton of insurance claims. You've already told them there was an incident, so you have to declare it and you won't avoid an increase (if it happens, can probably avoid it by shopping around)

Yep she’s taken the other people she hit for a joker too. He’s bought an eBay door and needs re spray to match up.
My problem is I’ve got fault claim for windows bonnet vandalism parked car in 2018 so it’s still on file til July.
Insurance this year was back to normal price but a new claim will bump it up.
But out of principle I could just risk it and maybe have high insurance next year.
Will give her til Monday to answer and if stupid texts bulls**t i will call insurance
I know it’s only scratches just cosmetic spray but these things totally de value cars
I’m frustrated 😤

Just report it to insurance and next year pay three extra 20 quid it may or may not cost you.
It’s non fault, you were parked. Let insurance deal with it.

It's a 9year old Fiesta, I doubt if it's altered the value at all.

Get yourself down to Halfords and buy a suitable rattle can. Job done, move on.

Don't suppose you've got footage of the whole incident we could view by any chance?

If only I had footage to see the madness
I don’t think she’s safe driving her big old crappy VW Touran leaking oil all over car park
Smelt booze and seemed spaced out
Behaviour deluded gobbing off like she’d done nothing wrong and it was all my fault
She couldn’t get off car park her friend without a license had to drive it to end of car park, went off to get the kids from school

Pity. Would have been interesting viewing.
