Well done OP, pleased you won and shamed the bullies

"Is the car still parked there? Interesting to see if you get popped again.
Yes, the car is still there but will be MOT'd and Taxed next month all being well. Failing that the plates are coming off as per previous suggestion. Good result for the OP.
I had the car I use for sprints SORN'd on the driveway for 9 months during the pandemic when motorsports was banned and we weren't allowed to drive anyway. I was meticulous in ensuring that no part of the bodywork was over the edge of the drive for exactly this reason.
Didn't get a ticket but we live in a cul-de-sac and presumably it would take the likes of Marstons too long to drive down each one and turn round.

A standard NFA letter, they can never actually bring themselves to just say "sorry our mistake"
I'd struggle to resist sending one back saying, "It's not so much that you've decided to take no further action; it's that you were wrong and the option of taking further action or not is not one that is yours to decide."KungFuPanda said:

The current system is pretty simple - a vehicle needs to be either taxed or SORNed.

The OP clearly states the vehicle is SORNed so what are you getting at?https://www.gov.uk/sorn-statutory-off-road-notific...
