If it’s been placed on your bike or about your person by someone with ill intent, it’s quite possible they’ve disabled its speaker.

You need to determine whether it still follows you when you’re away from the bike or not - if yes, presumably it’s about your person.

If it’s on your bike, time to start poking and prodding to find it.

Bear in mind it may no longer look like an airtag if someone’s taken the guts out of one and eg wrapped the electronics in gaffer tape :-/

Have you got an AirTag? Maybe about 3-4 times over the years my phone is convinced my own AirTag is following me and won’t shut up.

It makes sound but I'm still struggling to find it , I was hoping there was another way

What bike is it? There are only so many places to hide one. And you can Google for images of your bike if it's new and you're unsure what's what.

I just tried to see if my circuit probe thing would beep whilst prodding mine but it does not. So, eyeballs and spot the difference.

Though if you're back at home already then perhaps it's time to think about security as if it's nefarious then it has surely served its purpose already.

Phantom Air tag alerts are uncommon but not unheard of.

Has it alerted you more than once and is it showing up on or near your bike?

So an unknown AirTag is making a noise on your bike but you can’t find it?
I’d be very concerned tbh.

BLE scanner app on your phone will give you rssi (signal strength) that may help locate. Try nRF for starters.

Use the precision find mode if you have an iphone (or possibly ipad). It might give you a better idea of the location, but how many places could an airtag be stashed on a bike enough to be unfindable?

Off the top of my head I can think of under the seat, behind the fairings, behind the plate, under the suspension struts, dropped down behind the clock set?
