They've been out on the A350 just south of M4 J17 heading to Chippenham a couple of times this week, including this morning.

To give them theur due, they have put a sign up a good way before the van so the numptys are cruising past at 40 in a 70 "just to be sure"

Not detected by Snooper S5 - what technology are they using??

Anyway, you have been warned!

Cheers, that's a nice fast bit of road.

Or it used to be.

I run a Bel990 international radar/laser detector in my sensible car.

I went past a Talivan yesterday and got no reading. I think what the operator does is view moving traffic via a video camera and only when he's identified a possible speeder does he press the laser/radar buttton to get a speed reading. Accordingly if your unit detects nothing I guess the operator has not fired the "nab the bastard on an empty dual carriageway rather than catch proper criminals" button.

Most radar detectors will not pick up the laser guns.

Only defense is a laser blinder

www.snooper.co.uk has some good ones.
