So just interested in Plod, and the Law
What offences 'could' have been commited for the police to turn up in numbers, (3 cars) sledge hammer a front door, take away the handcuffed owner and then take his computer, at 2am in the morning

Errrrr they're all great, well except the nutter next door
He had a habbit of playing very loud techno all day and ALL night, but that has been sorted and is quite obviously high as a kite most of the time.
He is quite strange, early 30's I'd say but his parents do his shopping He's a web designer and very rarely leaves the house, I've never seen someone sooooo white

Hacking?

Terrorism laws allow the p[olice to do what they did to hackers, if they're screwing around with Government systems.

A supporter of Osama bin Rumbled, a cracker/hacker, child porn distributor, web hosting illegal or offensive material, purveyor/purchaser of illegal goods on the internet or involvment in an internet scam, mistaking Nottingham for somewhere in West Africa. Easily done in December.

Nice to see a few reasons that don't include kiddy porn, as the neighbourhood lynch mob had him down as a kiddy fiddling drug pushing monster by 10am Sunday morning
But he's not back home yet, his dads put the door back on, which is nice, as it looked a little 'downmarket' with a boarded up front door

Well, not that anyone really cares, but I was talking to my 'dodgy' neighbour yesterday, and it turns out the 2am raid was for 'copyright infringements' they took away 600 DVD's and 300 PS2 games but he's not been charged and his solicitor reckons he'll get off as the DVD's and games were all diferent titles, and not in copy boxes it's obvious they were for 'personal use' and not being shifted on the car boot scene

Seems a bit excessive doesn't it. Would a friendly knock on the door plus a 'hello there here is a warrent to search your house, let us in' not have been slightly better? It's not like he could fluch them down the toilet is it?

Makes an interesting story for him though... and he'll get a nice new front door gratis.

Well he doesn't do himself any favours with his loud music, and car stereo........
But the reason he came and had a word with me was to tell me he'd had his car stereo nicked off his drive, while we were out shopping, and he got a knife in his back during the incident I'm guessing it was a pen knife as he was out and about and walking 5 hours after
But it's all a bit of a coincidence as he's been staying away since he was bundled in the back of the panda car
I was quick to put the local gossips straight though as everyone had him down as a kiddyfiddling porn downloading child abducting monster

Funny thing was racegirl nearly bought the PS2 and the games off him a week earlier but because he had so many games he wanted too much for it, might offer him £50 for it in 8 months time when he gets it back of the Bib

Will probably take them that long to make enough copies for the BIB's to take home
