Well Well Well!! leave the policing to the Bib and NOT to some socialist scum with an agenda, then we get real policing with an obvious positive effect!! Well done Guys, keep targeting the bad drivers,
it's just a pity that Mumpties in their panzers on the school run are not targeted as well...as IMHO they're usually the most inconsiderate and bad drivers

I will be out and about in my favourite unmarked Traffic car on Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 2am and then reverting back to a marked car unitl 6am

Not being funny but arent you restricted on the number of hours you can be out there driving? (like lorry drivers). 12 hours seems a lot to me, surely like most of us you would be knackered working this and concentration might slip?

Excellent! I have absolutely nothing to fear from an unmarked police car. As a matter of interest, if 2 are unmarked, how many are marked, during an average shift.

I know that marked cars will always be needed for attendence at accidents and pursuits but unmarked cars are the way forward!

depends if they got the speed detection gear switched on or not.

Yeah but I tend to keep it sensible if I am unsure. Plu sI happne to know what the local force has in terms of unmarked cars so it is pretty easy to stay on the right side of the law.

Fortunately, I work with my posted partner and we share the driving, hence at no stage do we drive tired.
The most knackering stage is waiting for solicitiors etc to turn up in custody suites!!

At last something useful being done. Does this mean Will Crash that you won't be reading the newspaper in the camera van under the macdonalds r/bout on the A40 anymore !!!!! Still think marked cars are best, its harder for me to spot unmarked ones at 140 on a bike !!!!

This sounds an excellent initiative, let's hope it does go nationwide.
