Didn't Red Ken say that he would resign if the CC was not a success.
The trouble is, is that no-one is clear on how the CC is evaluated for success.
Is it (1) Traffic Reduction or (2) Income?
Crafty is our Ken.

So at last you guys are realising what this useless is up to!!! Typical lying barsteward who is only interested in his own ends and phruck the public. Was always like that, that's why Maggie screwed the barstard (GLC), and now the slime comes back creeping under the door-jamb... stamp on/out evil little squirts like that!!!

Plotloss. Why do Kensington and Chelsea want to be included in the zone? Are they stupid?

Well judging by the number who turned up yesterday to oppose it, I'd say - They don't.

OK some do, some don't.
The scheme has two aims -
1. To reduce congestion, which by rephasing the the traffic lights, and control of roadworks, it has done.
2. Generate revenue, it has not been quite so succesfull with this one, so the intention is to continually expand teh area until the targets are met.

By extending the current zone to RBoK&C, and introducing another at Heathrow, it won't be long before the two are joined to improve administration.
