A quick thank you to the bib.

Well here's the story..

Last week father in law pops down the newsagent to pick up the mornings paper. He leaves his keys in the car and then is surprised that it is gone 5 minutes later.

After much abuse from his wife things settle down and he contemplates how he is going make an insurance claim......

Local Bobby suggests he does not mention he left the keys in the car and he gets another set cut to send to insurance co.

Well by Friday he has a new set of keys and is £100 lighter in his wallet. He sends the keys and documents off to the insurance co. and I suggest he looks up "fraud" in the dictionary

Come Saturday evening there's a call from the police. The cars been found, without any damage , although he has lost some tool in the boot.

Funny thing is the bloke who "stole" the car got caught for not paying for petrol when he filled up, and obviously did not change the plates.

Anyway, father in law is happy, so is his wife and world peace will surely follow.

The end

Just as well, BiB might have asked awkward questions if they found someone in there, however unpleasant they might be .

Good to hear that all is well, anyway.

The only time I had my car stolen it was found by the Police the same night.

It was found about 5 miles away with no damage, but tools stolen from the boot.

Probably just stolen by someone wanting to get home.
