Complete and utter fking waste of money, won't even benefit the buses as the road in question flows freely anyway. The only bottleneck on it is the single-file passage under the railway bridge at the bottom, which of course won't be changed. Prodger needs his arse kicked.

I know about it, I actually live off that road, I attended the meetings, there was no support for the bus lane, but it's going to happen, funding has been granted from London, so therefore it MUST go ahead.

Nobody except that anti car cretin Prodger wants it ........ but work starts next week.

Thoroughly fuming because I didn't know about it until I read this thread. Don't recall any mention of it in the Berrows, might have missed it I suppose. Had I known I'd have gone to register my protest too. I don't suppose one extra voice would have made any difference, but maybe the combined extra voices of others who like me didn't know about it until too late just might have done.

I doubt it, nothing made any difference to the park and rides, the lack of parking at the new hospital, the bus lane in Barbourne, the crap on the A449, actually moving the A44 so the speed limit could be lowered etc etc etc etc
