I appreciate that a good bobby would just get things done but that still doesn't make it lawfull and niether will it mean that all Officers will do it.

It is lawful and so is everything I do in my duty as I don't wish to lose my livelihood and pension. It's just some of us know how to do our job; others say it's a civil matter without thinking or studying. Mind you, I have been doing this for over 22 years and I do like learning
