Anyone on here ever been...It says it's not open to the public, but wondered how strictly this rule was enforced... can you get in by "knowing the right people"?
The mrs loves crime stuff and she would love it!

Crazy thread resurrection but has anyone got any updates on this?
I would get an infinite amount of brownie points if I could get entrance to this place.....
Group of us went a couple of months ago, it is without doubt one of the best things I've done. Some of it was a bit surreal, being able to see the bath (and touch, but not allowed to!) that Dennis Nilsen used to kill a number of people. I would get an infinite amount of brownie points if I could get entrance to this place.....
I have no idea how it was sorted, but all of us that went are police officers, we had to show our warrant cards to get in to Scotland Yard and scanners to get in.
If you are able to do it, it's worth it 100%, I could easily have stayed there for a lot longer and would love to go back.
Not as good as viewing it up close but a DVD tour of the place is available here.
Not sure if it contains it all as I've never been.

It's very interesting. You have to be police or part the judiciary within London to get in though
If you're job PM me and I'll get you the email address you need to book. If you're Met its on the intranet
Interesting. I dropped the Commander of the MET (family friend) and he told me to beat it If you're job PM me and I'll get you the email address you need to book. If you're Met its on the intranet

I had the tour a few years ago - was really good but I can understand they don't want to open it up due to the horrific nature of how much of the content was used and not wishing to glamourise the crimes involved.
At the time I was dealing with people who work along the Thames and it was tagged onto a meeting at NSY
