What right has a police officer got to ask you about gloves. How dare he invade your privacy. As for looking at you. That's outrageous. Blocking your way. That's like almost an arrest. POLICE STATE!!!!

Just to save some posters the need to comment.
Is being a sarcastic wker a job requirement, or do they teach you once you've joined?
Personal insults how very exciting.

24 minutes. Post 3.

Pretty quick and not a shock.
Sadly not. I have no issue with Bib stopping for a friendly chat and would be grateful that they were doing so if I were in the unfortunate position to have had my car/property stolen. We often hear of the amount of uninsured drivers on the road, many on here complain about it, yet they slag off the very actions that could capture many of those guilty of this crime and the many others that speed cameras can't capture.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

As if your post wasn't personally insulting. rolleyes

Oh, I forgot that you're allowed to be sarcastic and get away with it, as answering back means "failing the attitude test" or some rubbish. You are the law.

Oh dear. It seems you lack some comprehension skills.

Please highlight your name in my post.

Please highlight any personal insult in my post aimed at anyone.

Please highlight the swearing in my post.

You'll note that you'll fail in all three tasks. My post is sarcastic. Absolutely. As with every post where an OP comes on and says how pleased they are to be stopped someone will always appear and pass comment about breach of human rights etc.

In this case you came in at post 3 passing a comment.

However the post I made was in answer to a new comment and not directed at you personally but at the generic posters of a similar type but more in terms of saving time for them and yes highlighting the comments they make as just being made as they have some individual issue that they project on others.

I think it's very clear from the tone of your posts that you are quite aggressive and confrontational. Your resort to personal insults doesn't make you look big or clever at all. It's not really a shock with such an outlook on life that you do t have great encounters with the police when you meet them.

As for the lovely roll eyes character. I think on balance it's not me that is coming over badly on this thread.

I think that the real issue starts after the stop; where the officers involved arent quite as pleasant as those described here. This does happen. I'll concede that it happens far more to some people than to others, though.

Absolutely. You treat people in the way I'd like my family treated. I've taken torrents of abuse from people. Let them get it off there chest then carried on. On more than a few stops had the person say sorry for the way they spoke with me.

At work they are not having a go at me as such but at the uniform. However in here it was actually aimed at me, it is water off a ducks back though as I have heard far worse.

In the same way some officers always get incivility complaints. Which as a result means they get flagged up for investigation.

Similar thing happened to me a few nites back, i was making some progress home early in the morning, and passed a Battenburged X5, which promptly did a U-ey, and pulled me over, couple of very nice coppers who just wanted to check it was my car, as apparently a few similar cars had been stolen in the area recently. Was nice to see some real police officers rather than all the usual machine justice we get!

I have a job whereby I regularly make use of airports for early morning flights and get cars to pick me up at stupid o'clock in the morning. The drivers are often stopped by BiB on these early morning runs. A bit inconvenient for them but they treat it as part of the job - the stop is usally over in minutes, if not seconds, when BiB spot that the driver is wearing a suit! Moral of story - if you're out nicking cars in the early hours ................ wear a suit wink

Don't you dare stop him being sarcastic. I pay his wages and I demand the Police use sarcasm against the stupid. It makes for great TV.
