Help please......radar.......

I was driving on the M40 last sunday when I spotted a Police car on a bridge pointing what I presume was a speedgun in my direction. At the time I spotted him I was travelling around 96 mph (the first quick blast of the day too). I presume that he 'caught' me, but can anyone let me know how long before a fine may arrive at my door? or is it possible that they only pick a handful of drivers to prosecute?
If I am caught, would there be any photographic evidence of who was driving? I saw no flash......

If it was a police car, you may have got away with it as they normally stop you and give you the ticket.
If it was a van you will have to wait 2 weeks to see, if you are very lucky he may have been looking at the other lanes.

I am really hoping thats the case...... I dont think they would have been able to follow anyone though as they were on a bridge overhead..... it would have taken them a while to get from there back onto the M-way...I hope you are right though...

Some laser guns have the capability of being connected to a video recorder. If they were using this system, they would not need to come after you. They will just follow it up in the post. Two weeks is about right.
