You have bought the most pampered Z06 in the UK. Well done. I was speaking to JW at the CCCUK Nationals last weekend and he said it had gone.
I looked a buying it two years ago but I can't live with a black car.
If you want any info on joining the CCCUK, send me a PM or email chairman@corvetteclub.org uk
Thanks very much, however I did actually register & join with a view to making the Nationals, and at the very least as a gesture of thanks to the club without whom I would not have found this car!I looked a buying it two years ago but I can't live with a black car.

Sad to have missed catching up with JW last weekend, will try to organise for the next gathering.
Just headed down to the Cotswolds in it, wins me over more and more with every drive.
In answer to the OP... the garage is more than full now so yes, I'm going to have to let my Z06 go after over nine years (no I didn't quite get round to selling it last year). Le Mans Blue, UK(Europe) spec and lovely - you can see it in the Classifieds: http://thumbsnap.com/sc/VaqHOLvP.jpg[/img]|http://t...

Thanks - I didn't think I was allowed to do that PHCorvette said:
priced very keen to sell! I've seen other cars, ok with a bit less mileage but that shouldn't be an issue, going or up for the high 30s.
Good luck with the sale, it should fly at the price.
Had a few sniffs when the weather was grim but, with the car garaged in Devon, distance seemed an obstacle for some! The first who visited thought it too hard core for him, which surprised me. Happily as soon as I renewed the ad with the clocks having gone forward, I got several bites and, having taken a deposit on Monday from the second person to visit, parted with the Z06 today for the asking price.Good luck with the sale, it should fly at the price.
I say "happily", but I'm not ashamed to admit that I started to well up when I saw (and heard) the car disappear up the motorway. It's the only car I've bought new and I guess I had grown a bit attached to it after nearly ten years
Bye bye Z06 - you were (and are) awesome.
just traded mine in this week for a not too disimilar price but couldnt be hassled with the test drives and general public. I say not dissimilar but about a k less. As it needed new tyres i was happy to do the deal.
I was sad to see the car go but the replacement hasnt had me looking back. I do miss the attention it got and I do miss being waved out of side junctions/roads etc as the new car people seem to think "eff off".
It was tough too, the day I did the deal, the sun was out the car was perfect it was just almost tempting to say no - but I needed something a little more refined for long trips. We did Poland and back in the Z last year, loved it but just fancied something a bit more refined this time around!
Well done on the sale

Cool - what year and miles was yours, and where were you able to trade it in? I'd sort of expected that not to be possible.I was sad to see the car go but the replacement hasnt had me looking back. I've had my 'replacement' car for a while, which gets more pedestrian thumbs up and kindness at junctions than the Z did, but doesn't quite have the same 'will never let you down' feeling about it. Taking the Sag out to say bye bye to the Z made me feel a bit better about it, but I'll still miss it.
I reckon there's only one remaining UK 2006 Z06 still with its original owner after today.
