I was going to accept the Stingray Grill as I had 'Deleted' the Chrome Styling Strip with Black Plasti-Dip, but I kept going back to the Z06 Grill with the Brake Scoops either side ...its far nicer all together and those Scoops marry to those on my Z51 without modification .... So I had the car to Keith at Premier Bodyworks Wallis Rd Mboro hes done work for me in the past and has been Excellent. I had him Spray the Carbon Flash Black Stinger Stripe on the Hood and remove the wing mirrors...split them and Spray them 'Red' as a Homage to the C7-R Race Car and currently have Decals coming from all over the S]how ... There's a Guy on the US Forums with a Convertible in the full Livery ...looks Superb! [I put the C7 Grill on Ebay and it Sold]

As I'd gone this far I sent for the Z06 Style Wheels in the Z51 Sizes 20" and 19" and had the Tyres and TPMS swopped onto these New Wheels ...I Love the Look of them [ Again I put the Wheels on EBay and Sold them I had Sold the Z51 Spoiler to the same Guy ...it just was meant to be for him]

I liked the look of the RPi ACS Rear Diffusers with the 4 Blades so had those sent and I fitted them [pictures poor to be able to see them on a Dull Misty day but they look Great with the Sun on them]

my 'Homage' to the C7 Racing Corvette is underway ....It may be one of a Kind when its done ....as McDonalds would say.... "I'm Loving it!"

Love the C7. I don't think putting stickers all over it does anything other than cheapen it, but each to their own.

Depends, he’s trying to recreate the racing car livery. They can always come off.

I understand that. It just puts me in mind of the Corsa/Saxo craze of the shopping list of manufacturer's names stuck to the doors.

Like I said; each to their own.

The difference with that particular car is that not 'just' a C7 with a sticker kit. it's a C7R edition Z06 - one of only 500 made.

Ken's does look great too - maybe not what I'd do with mine, but I still like to see people do this sort of thing and, hey - we all have different taste! Ken can do what he wants with his car to make it look the way he likes it.

Ignore the critics, Ken! smile

I've been waiting over a decade to use this line from Scoobynet.....

"Stickers on cars are like tattoos on birds, they can look fantastic but I wouldn't want them on my own."

Glad you've done it, looks fab but I wouldn't have the balls/desire to follow suit!

Nice ride Bro!!!

As I said (twice); each to their own. It wouldn't do if we all liked the same thing, would it? I'm not being negative, just stating my opinion.

The blue C6 Ken had previously looked nicely understated; so much so that my own is now very similar. And not a sticker in sight...
