I didn’t like the front number plate holder as it restricted the airflow, plus personally i didn’t like the look. This one came from Germany, and I think it looks much better.

Seriously, have you a link for the German plate holder?

Saw the number plate holder on a C7 Z06 on the Chevrolet stand at the Festival of speed in 2016. Tracked it down to a German company/dealer called Geiger Cars, just do a google search.
They do all sorts of tuning bits for Corvettes, the plate holder is shown in carbon and is not cheap at, if memory serves me correct, about €500.
If you want to save a bit of money, then they also do the holder in plastic (but it’s not shown on the site) at a fraction of the cost. Then get it carbon dipped if you want the same finish.

Great looking car Sounds Legal. The mounting plate/position is the one of the best I have seen on a C7.
I used a modified C6 mounting plate on my C7. I ground of the edges and cable tied it to the grille. Then I stuck on the plate with pads.
I managed to get away with a small front plate on my C6 Zo6 for a couple of years then got fined £100 ,so I had to go with the full size on the C7.
I have also added some aluminium accents to the interior. The round knobs, the small panel on the left of the wheel and the surrounds of the air vents on the drivers side. Strangely the passenger side comes with the vent surrounds from the factory but not on the left.
A small thing but the Z06 logo on the side vents is picked out in red but the "supercharged lettering is not.
Mine now is. I think it goes well with the red callipers.
Thanks :-) Yeah, it works really well, I like how the plate bends to reflect the angle at the front, same as the US plates.

Vent surrounds: yeah - odd isn't it!

Yes, interesting.

Back in the day Lotus F1 team was racing in yellow "Camel" colors - check out the photo of Ayrton Senna's car on the link below. As you can see, the "camels" on the car generally stand with their heads to the left. This is the official Camel cigarette trade mark. However, some bright spark decided it would look better to have all the camels on the sides of the car facing with their heads toward the front - one camel is therefore facing to the right.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lotus_99T#/media/Fil...

Incorrect use of a registered trademark weakens its strength. This issue was addressed and later versions of the same Camel Lotus get-up had all camels facing correctly to the left.....

I Decided to Swop out the Round Leather Steering Wheel for a Hunky Chunky Black Alcantara 'Suede' 'D' Shape which had by Chance 'Red' Stitching .,...Really Nice Feel to her from 'HandKraftd' it comes Bare so I decided to tackle it myself .....I had a 3/4" to 1/2" Drive Reducer with a Torx50 and a Hefty 3/4" bar ....winding the wheel fully to the left she Cracked Off. I swopped out the Switch Gear, Controls and Paddles [Rev Match]
Air Bag/Horn with trim tools. Very Pleased with that as it improves the Driving Experience it's got a really Nice feel to it.

Had a Great day at Rockcliffe Hall Supercar Show ....We where asked by ARCUS [American Cars-R-Us NE] to form up at a location nearby having assembled C1 thru C7 Corvettes. The Show was to Benefit Children and they where all waiting for us to arrive down the Main Drag .....The Look on their faces, Waves, Smiles and Enjoyment made it so worthwhile .... many Wheelchair Bound but the excitement and Happiness was great to see ...we arrived in Convoy Blipping the cars waving in return.
Ferrari's, Porches, McLaren's, Aston Martins and more all raising money for the Kids made it enjoyable for Kids and the 'Petrolheads' too

Do you have to disable somehow the air bag before you remove it? Or do you just disconnect the battery?
