C7's a rare beast?
Discussion
I picked up my C7 Z06 with Z07 performance package, in racing yellow, on Tuesday! Only slight disappointment was that it wasn't a manual, but for the price and the fact they are so rare in the UK I just had to go for it!
Over the moon so far, but will take some getting used to. I'd love to take it on track at some point, but I fear the noise limits will rule that out!

i wanted a paddle shift c7, wanna swap? have you got steel rotors on yours,if so be careful on track,i did a charity day and after 3 laps discs warped, now got ebc yellow pads and LNS rotors from US,you cant buy uprated discs in the UK,i dont track mine (have LMP prototypes for that) its not worth the wear and tear,i changed my run flats for michelin pilot sports as well
i only did a charity day at castle combe, they are strict, go on trackday website,it will have max dec limit, this is drive by,not static, you need a 102-105db trackday, brands gp or goodwood is outstanding for a fast track, you can carry lots of speed corner to corner,im at silverstone tues but in a radical sr3rx,blows mclarens, porsches etc away as it only weighs 500kgs,not cheap nowadays though, approx £750,dont go for cheap airfields, the stones will wreck your undertrays/arches
Did a lot of Rockingham, brands and Bedford in my Evo. Rockingham now closed, Bedford my Evo now seems too loud for driveby despite passing the static, and to be fair not even Brands in a long while. Might take the Vette down there at some point just to watch and get them to noise test so I can get an idea.

Took my C7 Z06/ Z07 to Castle Combe and it passed the 100dB limit. I put the exhaust in Stealth mode for the testing and it came in at 99dB.Over the moon so far, but will take some getting used to. I'd love to take it on track at some point, but I fear the noise limits will rule that out!

My car doesn’t seem to have stealth mode....it’s got Weather, Eco, Touring, Sport and Track.....I’m assuming Eco is the same as stealth, but I have been wondering why mine doesn’t have Stealth. Mine is a 2015 model, maybe yours is later?
Two different sets of controls. One is driving mode on the twirly knob. The other is exhaust sound on the DIC menu.rockin said:
