Idle Sunday morning car surf....

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2...

So as a Macam/SQ5 alternative seems on the surface to be a total bargain.

Ad blurb:

2.7l Twin Turbo V6
335 bhp
380 Ft/Lbs torque at just 3000 RPM
0 - 62 mph 5.8 seconds and 154 mph

Loaded with toys too. What's not to like?

Very little not to like.

Basically a Ford Edge underneath, with a few more trimmings to make it worthy of the premium Lincoln badge.

Interior is nice albeit utilising much cheaper feeling materials, but the contact surfaces are pleasant enough to touch and use.

Viable and cheaper alternative to the Macan etc, and would stand out more.

The ad is confusing on the main points..not the same car as the pictures well that’s helpful. The ad also says 2016 year so £25k saving over “normal UK price” (no such thing as not sold here).
I like it but £25 k is about right.

I was close to buying on in the UK. I could see very little downsides except the usual story of servicing support.
